May Altar Preparation

It is a long-standing tradition for Catholic homes to set aside a space for a May Altar in honour of Our Blessed Mother throughout this month.

Please watch the short video by Fr Damian McCaughan, Parish Priest of Ballymoney and Derrykeighan, on setting up a simple May Altar at home and its significance.

You are invited to send a picture of your May Altar to the Parish Office (kircubbin@downandconnor.org) so that we can display it in the Church to encourage this beautiful tradition.
