Eucharistic Adoration
The Eucharist is the heart of our faith, and in the quiet of Eucharist Adoration, we encounter Christ in a profound and personal way. Our parish’s Eucharistic Adoration Group exists to foster a deeper love for Jesus, truly present in the Blessed Sacrament, and to support opportunities for prayer, silence, and spiritual renewal.
Our Purpose
The Adoration Group supports the parish by:
- Promoting regular times of Eucharistic Adoration.
- Encouraging parishioners to spend time in prayer before the Blessed Sacrament.
- Organising hours of exposition to ensure Jesus is never left unattended.
- Proving resources and guidance for those new to Adoration.
- Cultivating a spirit of reverence, peace, and devotion in our parish community.
What We Do
Members of the Eucharistic Adoration Group commit to:
- Spending a weekly or monthly hour before the Blessed Sacrament.
- Assisting with the setup and closing of Adoration periods.
- Welcoming newcomers and offering simple explanations or prayer aids.
- Praying intentionally for parish needs, vocations, and the world.
- Supporting special parish Holy Hours and times of extended Adoration.
Whether silent prayer, Scripture reflection, the Rosary, or simply resting in the Lord’s presence, all forms of reverent prayer are welcome.
Why Adoration Matters
In a busy world full of noise and distraction, Adoration provides a sacred pause. It is a time to open our hearts, listen to God’s voice, and be renewed by His peace. Many parishioners find that even a brief visit before the Blessed Sacrament offers clarity, comfort, and a deeper sense of God’s love.
New Adorers Are Always Welcome
No prior experience is necessary, just a willing heart. If you’re curious about Adoration or wish to commit to a regular hour, the group is always pleased to help you get started. Everyone is welcome to come and spend time with Jesus.
