St. Martha Group

At our Parish, we are blessed to have the St. Martha Altar Society, a group of dedicated parishioners who quietly serve behind the scenes to keep our churches beautiful and prayerful places of worship. Inspired by their patroness, St. Martha, who faithfully served Christ with love and devotion, these volunteers give their time and care to ensure the altar and sanctuary reflect the dignity of the sacred liturgy.

What We Do

Members if the St. Martha Altar Society:

  • Clean and care for the church sanctuary and sacristy.
  • Wash, iron and prepare altar linens.
  • Arrange and maintain altar flowers and seasonal decorations.
  • Ensure candles, vessels and vestments are in order for Mass.
  • Assist in preparing the Church for feast days and special celebrations.

Why this Ministry Matters?

A reverent, well-prepared worship helps lift hearts and minds to God. Through their service, the Altar Society enables the entire parish to encounter Christ in a setting that is cared for with love, devotion, and attention to detail.

How to Get Involved

The St. Martha Altar Society is always happy to welcome new members. Men and women of all ages are invited to join this ministry of hospitality and care. No special experience is needed – just a willingness to serve and a heart for the parish.
